plastic bottles have gone to waste in landfill

Recycling is the first step. But if this recycled plastic is not recycled again and again we are simply delaying the problem.

Together with you, we want to sustain a circular economy and keep plastic away from landfills forever.

1. Material World
Our frames are made from 100% recycled PET bottles. Thanks to rigorous production controls, we can rely on the purest materials.

2. Premium, no concessions
We value quality and comfort above all. We source the finest components to assemble our products. Sustainable sunglasses are only sustainable if they last a lifetime.

3. Circular design
All our sunglasses are “designed for disassembly”. This means we came up with ways to easily recycle every pair upon its return.

Our products are meant to last, both structurally and stylistically. Yet still, we design for disassembly. All because We take responsibility for the plastic materials we recycle and put on the market again. No waste is wasted.

Have your sunglasses reached end-of-life?
Use your case and transform it into a 'send-back-case'. Anywhere in the world, you can throw your case in a P.O. box, and it'll end up, free of charge for you, with us. We recycle them (again) into new sunglasses and you receive your cashback. This way we close the loop together.

Waste is over
If you want it

Coming full circle, Yuma Labs is not just strictly about designing sunglasses and recycling them either. Our products and services are catalysts for change meant to advocate a broader basis for a circular economy.

To this end, we are continuously looking for collaborating brands and organizations to join us on this mission. Read about our brand collaborations and other Circular Stories here.

It's up to all of us to get the circular economy straight.
