Love Stories introduces its first-ever collection of sunglasses, because no summer wardrobe is complete without eye protection.
Love Stories is a lingerie brand by women, for women. They are committed to being a responsible company in every facet of their business. In every step of their supply chain, they keep future generations in mind as they commit to minimising waste and carbon footprint. For what they cannot reduce themselves, they invest in initiatives and partners that are specialised in conserving biodiversity.
For this eyewear collection, they invested in a partner like Yuma Labs. We produce high-quality eyewear from bio based and recycled materials, designed to be recycled again at the end of their life.
The frames of these sunglasses are crafted from bio acetate and acetate renew, which is made from eyewear production scraps that are collected, recycled and reused, and offer 100% UV protection.

Sunglasses
The frames are crafted from bio acetate and acetate renew, which is made from eyewear production scraps that are collected, recycled and reused. This material includes 28% recycled content (of which 50% post-consumer waste) and 42% to 68% bio-based content (wood or cotton fibers). This material has exactly the same quality as virgin acetate.
The lens is made from polycarbonate with an anti-scratch coating. This is virgin material but it is recyclable. Not for making lenses again but it can be used for other products. The lenses are 100% UVA/UVB protection.
Packaging
The sunglasses come inside a pink pouch made out of recycled PET bottles and a pink drawer box made from certified sustainably forested wood (FSC certified) with a cleaning cloth made from recycled PET plastic.
